The chloride ion content in seawater is very large, which increases the corrosion rate. In recent years, with the accelerated development of marine development and utilization, the massive construction of coastal nuclear power projects and the promotion of the seawater desalination industry, the application of seawater-resistant butterfly valves has become more and more widespread. Ordinary seawater-resistant butterfly valves, in order to adapt to the corrosion of chloride ions in seawater, the valve body, butterfly plate and other accessories are usually made of duplex stainless steel, titanium alloy and aluminum bronze. The shortcomings cannot fully meet the needs of seawater conditions. For example, the titanium alloy butterfly valve has excellent performance in all aspects, but the smelting technology of titanium and titanium alloy is difficult, and the method of obtaining titanium alloy castings is difficult, difficult to process, and the price is very expensive. If the butterfly valve is made of duplex stainless steel, it can resist the corrosion of chloride ions, but the erosion resistance is not good. The flow port and the sealing surface are easily damaged by erosion, causing the sealing surface of the butterfly valve to leak.
